Yoshino cedar, one of the three most beautiful forests in Japan, is used as a material for Sunday carpentry, DIY, remodeling, and gardening.
1×4 and 2×4 are the standard sizes of structural lumber used in the U.S. for construction, but we have prepared one-by and two-by sized lumber made of Yoshino cedar because it is an easy size to use for DIY.Yoshino cedar trees are approximately 70 to 100 years old and are characterized by their clear, fine, and beautiful grain.

The warm texture, aroma, and stable feel of Yoshinosugi, which are not found in foreign materials, will surely enhance the original product you have created and give you a sense of comfort in your +α life.

We have started selling Yoshino lumber to end-users in order to let people all over Japan know about and use the high quality lumber from the Yoshino region. We would like to deliver our products as inexpensively as possible to everyone in Japan, but due to the high cost of transportation for long products, we require a minimum purchase of 6 pieces or more. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We have also adjusted the number of pieces to avoid overpricing due to the weight of the product.

We would like to offer high-quality Yoshino cedar, which is called one of Japan’s three most beautiful forests, filled with the thoughts of our predecessors, at a reasonable price.

〇About our products
・The surface of the rough wood is prepared by passing it through a molder machine, but there may be faint blade marks or fluffiness on the surface.
・Since natural solid wood is used, there are variations in grain, color, and knots in the wood, and each piece will be different.
・Due to the use of natural wood, there may be scratches, dents or warping.
・Due to the nature of natural wood, there may be slight dimensional errors due to drying shrinkage and other factors.
〇Storage
・Do not store in direct sunlight, high temperature, high humidity, or in places exposed to rain. Doing so may cause mold, stains, or warping.
〇Terms of Use
・Scratches easily occur when hard objects are applied.
・Natural wood absorbs UV rays and will discolor over time. It is best to avoid direct sunlight as much as possible, although it will add to the flavor of the product.
・Direct exposure to heat from heating and cooling equipment may cause cracking.
◇ maintenance
・Daily care is sufficient to remove dust with a hand mop or similar tool.
・If you are concerned about stains, we recommend wiping with a tightly wrung cloth. If chemicals are used, please check the precautions for chemical use, as they may cause color fading or discoloration.
・Avoid wiping with a cloth that has been moistened with water. The wood will absorb moisture and swell, causing deflection and distortion.
・If a dent occurs, it may return to the original shape after 30 minutes of standing with an appropriate amount of water on the dented area.
※Natural wood has the property of swelling when it contains water.
